Canon Laser Shot LBP-3000

Canon Advanced Printing Technology (CAPT) is efficient enough to produce good laser prints and enhance ease of operation. Smart Compression Architecture (SCoA) automatically condenses the data in the PC prior to sending it to the printer. As a result, data processing is speedy while memory required for the PC is also reduced.
LBP-3000 features an All in One cartridge. As the drum and toner are encompassed in one unit, the printer maintenance is trouble free. When you replace the printer cartridge, the electrostatic charger, cleaner and other parts are also replaced making the printer equivalent to a new one.
You are likely to get constant high quality prints for an elongated duration with this printing equipment. A solitary cartridge has the capacity of printing nearly 2,000 A4 pages. Additionally, a special toner-saving mode boosts the output quantity further making the printer more economical in the process.
The laser print quality of LBP-3000 is extremely good. You can get prints of 600 x 600 dpi resolution. That’s not all, via the Automatic Image Refinement; the maximum resolution print is 2400 x 600 dpi. And the quality too is highly impressive with crystal clear text and crisp, highly perceptible graphics.
Coming to the physical aspect, the printer is rather compact and as such can be positioned anywhere comfortably. Other designing aspects are also trendy while the noise emitted while printing is minimal.
Paper handling features are very good with the multi-purpose tray capable of holding 150 sheets. Not only is the tray highly convenient to use but, in addition, you also get a tray cover.
There is a good network printing option as well. With the help of an optional AXIS 1650 Print Server, the device can function as a network printer.

This entry lever laser printer comes at $165. though it has a USB 2.0 port, it does not have a parallel port. Besides, the memory is only 2MB and there is provision for an upgrade. It prints only 144 p.p.m. Otherwise print quality is good. Ideal only for home use
