Canon PIXMA iP5200
The Canon PIXMA ip5200 is a photo printer which has the ability of producing photo lab quality prints at nice speeds.
Some crucial features of iP5200 are DVD/CD printing, automatic double-sided printing and the inclusion of 2 paper trays. Canon PIXMA iP5200’s economical Single Ink system sees to it that ink wastage is kept to the minimum.
With this photo printer, you can take photo lab quality 4" x 6" borderless photos within a quick duration of approximately 36 seconds when in the Standard mode. Borderless photos can be printed in various sizes up to A4. Text & Graphics need up to 11.7 ppm and an A4 full page colour print takes close to 19 seconds.
The maximum print resolution is 9600 x 2400dpi. Printing quality is enhanced thanks to Canon's FINE technology with small 1pl ink droplets. To further improve the depth and contrast in the photographs, iP5200 utilizes the ContrastPLUS technology which has an additional dye based black ink.
Life span of the photos is superior courtesy Canon's ChromaLife100 system of print head, new formulation inks and not least of all, the high quality printing papers used.
It is possible to print photos directly from a PictBridge compatible digital camera or camcorder minus a PC. Photo lab functionality facilitates sharing prints.
Enclosed in a stylish, compact design, it has dimensions of 444 x 309 x 160mm (W x D x H) and weighs approximately 7.3 kg. The Canon PIXMA iP5200 is compatible with Windows and Macintosh.
This ink-jet printer has a capacity of holding a total of 300 sheets (combined capacity of the two input trays).
Software included are Canon PhotoRecord, Canon Easy-WebPrint and some other useful ones.
A Hi-Speed USB 2.0 is present for connectivity purposes. Canon PIXMA iP5200 gives you a limited one-year service and support warranty.
