Compaq Presario M2200
Comapaq Presario comes in two models of M2205EA and M2241EA. Both of them are incorporated with the user- friendly Windows XP Microsoft operating system Home Edition.
M2205EA has a Sempron™ Processor 2800+ M2241EA comes with AMD Turion™ 64 Processor ML-28
This 15-inch notebook weighing 2.95 kg comes with an optimised keyboard for ease of use, Digital Media Reader, and wireless connectivity.
Its portability makes it a great buy. The bonus is the 6-cell Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery which gives you a long battery life.
The Altec Lansing speakers that are integrated are worth giving a listening to. The hard disk has a 40 GB space which is no great shakes these days.
Pre-installed in these models are the Microsoft Works 8.0, Adobe Reader 6.0 and Symantec’s Norton Internet Security 2005 with a 60-day live update.
There is also the DVD Writer Dual Format (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support.
Optical drive driver software ensures that you can run InterVideo WinDVD 5.0; Sonic™ Digital MediaPlus 7.0: Sonic™ RecordNow; Sonic™ MyDVD, Sonic™ Easy Archive; Sonic™ Express Labeler; Microsoft® Windows® Media Player 10; Apple iTunes; Apple QuickTimes.
The power supply type is 65 W AC Adapter. Internal audio is a 3D Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound 16 bit integrated.

Warranty is given for one year on pick-up and return, parts and labour.

AMD, Sempron processors pump up the power but battery life still an issue
The optical drive bundle makes it ideal for entertainment, but the batteries cannot take that much and give up after 2+1/2 hours. That's not improved.

nice one
There are two notebook models in this series. M22101TU and M2202TU. Both come with Intel915GM chipset which allows you to multi-task. Then there is GMA 900 for graphics. Speakers from Altec Lansing are offered. Convenient for data transfer. Check it out.
