If it weren't for the Centrino processor, the dv1300 would be less than average
It's easy to give a fair assessment of a product when it isn't ur own. I tried my cousin's HPdv1300 notebook and find nothing attractive about it. Passable features, average performance and plain-Jane looks - not a good combo. The processing speed, while multitasking, is decent though, because of the Centrino perhaps. And it's lighter than other notebooks. But I'd expect more from an HP product for the price on its label.
