HP Compaq nx8220 Business Notebook PC

Slender and tastefully designed, HP Compaq nx8220 weighs only 2.8 kg and is a mere 28.0 mm in thickness. It encompasses the 15.4-inch WXGA display with resolution of either 1200 x 800 or 1680 x 1050 and has a long battery life.

Operating on Windows XP, this notebook can be configured either with Intel Pentium M or Celeron M processors. Processors make use of the Intel Centrino Mobile Technology and graphic performance is enhanced thanks to the ATI Mobility Radeon X600 which is capable of holding up to 128 MB of video memory.

The chipset used is Mobile Intel 915PM Express Chipset.

DDR II SDRAM is the memory type having the speed of 400 MHz with standard memory being 256, 512 or 1024 MB. Maximum memory capability of this business notebook is 2048 MB. Hard disk drive varies between 40, 60, 80 or 100 GB (5400 rpm) or 60, 80 or 100 GB with the speed being 7200 rpm.

The ‘one touch’ docking station feature is available on a few models for better desktop usage. Made of reinforced composite material and in-mould laminate, the device is scratch-free.

Audio features comprise the HP Premier Sound 16-bit sound, and microphone jack.
