Compaq Presario M2100 Notebook
Making use of the intuitive Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition operating system, Compaq Presario M2100 series is a large 15-inch notebook PC with a light design, good battery life and a 6-in-1 Digital Media Reader.
Encompassing the Intel Celeron M Processor 350 with a speed of 1.30 GHz, this Compaq Presario weighs 6.6 lbs and has dimensions of 13.1 x 10.8 x 1.6 inches.
It uses the L2 cache memory of 256 KB. Maximum storage capability can go up to 1GB. Internal hard disk drive has a 40GB capacity.
Optical storage features are CD-RW / DVD-ROM combo.
You are provided with a 6 in 1 card reader. SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, MultiMediaCard, SmartMedia Card and the xD-Picture Card are the flash memory cards supported.
The display screen is 15 inches with the TFT active matrix having a max resolution of 1024 x 768 and it also encompasses the BrightView technology.
Video features comprise the Graphics Processor ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M. Further, videos exploit the Dynamic Video Memory Technology 2.0.

Softwares present in M2100 are Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, Microsoft Outlook Express, Adobe Reader 6.0, Symantec Norton AntiVirus 2005.
Optical drive driver softwares included with this notebook are InterVideo WinDVD, Sonic RecordNow; Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 and Apple iTunes.
Power is supplied via the 6-cell Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery which can function for close to 3 hours.

Notes on M2100 Notebook
The good thing about this notebook is that it comes with a range of goodies. What with the SD memory card, memory stick, memory stick PRO, multimedia card and the smart media card.
The lithium batteries can work upto 3 hours and are not as powerful as some of the other new notebooks are. Nevertheless, I did find the download time on M2100 to be something one can live with, unlike some systems that can make you a dinosaur waiting
