Controls are logically placed and hence very easy to access while the menus are also user friendly.

Transferring purposes are taken care of with USB 2.0.
Running on 4AA type batteries (not rechargeable), S7000 will give you a more than acceptable 300+ shots.
While the 1.8 LCD could definitely be bigger, the viewfinder looks sharp and delivers good results.
Start up and reprocessing time in S7000 is very fast.
The overall image quality is nice but they aren’t as impressive as some other cameras in this category. At higher ISO’s, even the noise factor is very much apparent. The absence of an AF assist lamp in felt while taking snaps in low light conditions.
In spite of a few glitches with regards to the image quality, the plethora of features incorporated still makes S7000 a reasonable option for professional shooters.

Don’t try this
This is a bad 6-megapixel camera. I have used it for over six months and found it very disappointing. There are quite a few features yet the camera disappoints no end. It’s easy to use but the camera functioning is slow and sadly, picture quality is bad. Many of the pictures I took looked blurry and even the manual focus refused to function. Their customer support guys are useless. Strict Warning: Purchasing this is an utter waste of money.
