Sony DSC-T3

Defining true style and sophistication in its refined stainless steel finish, the 5.1 megapixel DSC-T3 features a 3x ‘folded’ optical zoom with a range of 38 - 114mm. The folded lens functions from inside the camera and doesn’t jut out like in many others, giving the model a classy and ultra sleek look. It is made completely out of glass and is reckoned very superior than its contemporaries.

Covered with a large 2.5-inch, 230,000 pixels TFT LCD screen at the rear of the camera, the camera uses its LCD as its viewfinder as well as for viewing and reviewing of images. Equipped with a 5-point multipoint auto focus system and a poor light assistor and illuminator, the DSC-T3 has a working focus range from 50 cm to infinity while in the normal mode, and 8 cm to infinity in the Macro mode.

As for close-ups, amazing ones can be had by the magnifying glass mode of the camera. Apart from this, the camera has an integral flash with adjustments for Auto flash, Red-Eye Reduction, Fill-in, Slow Synchro and Flash Cancel. A feature worth noting in this camera is the Clear Photo technology, which employs a mirrored surface below the LCD and balances any untoward reflective sunlight effect that may show up on the surface.

To say this is bad will be an understatement
My poor boyfriend purchased this camera sometime back after reading good reviews abt it on some stupid site. Anyways, it has only been a torcherous experience for him ever since b’coz the camera doesn’t do what it was purchased for, taking good pictures. In fact, I saw the images and even compared it with my much cheaper camera and believe it or not, found my pictures much better. Picture quality is not that great in the best of shooting conditions. You can imagine then how bad it will be when pictures are taken in murky conditions. I was in many of the pictures shot and I am not exaggerating but sometimes I could recognize myself in the picture. I found only one positive overall in the camera i.e. the excellent design. Otherwise, it is pretty much a case of style over substance.
