Sony DSC-F707
The DSC-F707 is a camera that explains Sony’s efforts towards constant advancement in its production of digital cameras. Highly developed and designed, this model is sure to impress its user.
Looking akin to its predecessor, the F505 at the first look, the F707 seems to have retained the best from its senior and added other advanced features to make it much more valuable and imposing. An impressive 5-megapixel camera, the F707 weighs has dimensions of 4.75 x 2.75 x 6 inches and weighs a healthy 710 grams, along with battery, lens cap and shoulder strap. The Carl Zeiss zoom is faster here at F2.0 - F2.4, and a focal range of 9.7 - 48.5 mm, i.e. equivalent to 38 - 190 mm.
What makes the F707 a class apart is the first-ever inclusion of Nightshot technology, making it the only digicam yet to have ‘Night Vision’. This camera has the NightFraming IR mode that can be used in poor lighting conditions or even in virtually “no light” situations. Plus, the hologram AF option is there to take care of apt contrasts.
The F707 dons an electronic viewfinder via which subjects can be viewed even in intense light as well as an accessory shoe. Both these attributes along with a large grip area for the right hand, render the F707 a more durable camera to hold.
Meanwhile, its 1.8” LCD screen is clear and vivid, and one can even adjust the level of brightness here. Overall, the F707 marks a breakthrough in Sony’s series of digital cameras with all its add-ons and embellishments. However, if lightweight is a priority for you, note that this model is quite robust and hefty and certainly cannot fit into your pocket.

This camera won’t disappoint you
The first thing that struck me about this camera was its absolutely mind blowing designing. But I still had many apprehensions abt purchasing it b’coz many cameras look really good from the outside but don’t quite deliver up to your expectations. Thankfully, this Sony camera isn’t among them. It delivers very much up to what is expected of it. Feature wise, it is very rich. The 5-megapixel camera is very good churning out excellent high quality pics. Also highly impressive is the carl zeiss lens (hope I have spelt it correctly). The Night Vision feature is very good and deserves a mention. Also, you can make good use of the LCD and optical viewfinder. You won’t find much in this camera that will leave u disappointed.
