Sony DSC-W15
A camera with so much style is bound to attract attention. Designed to shoot effectively at 5.1 mega pixels, the DSC-W15 is a digital camera that comes with an exquisite leather cover and extra rechargeable NiMH AA batteries.
Having a Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lens, the W15 looks extremely smart in its black and silver matt texture, whilst retaining sufficient strength and physical solidity. Very strategically cast in aluminium in combination with steel, the camera is comfortably heavy in spite of two AA batteries.
Meanwhile, the W15 features an ergonomically placed menu with well-spaced buttons for various modes and other useful functions. It additionally has a 4-way button to control myriad functions together with a large and resplendent 2.5-inch LCD screen with a unique resolution of 115,000 pixels. Displaying colours beautifully and at their best, the W15’s LCD combats almost all difficult lighting conditions like fluorescent strip and poor lights, and successfully emerges as the ‘clear and bright’ winner. The W15 is further equipped with an optical viewfinder that is vivid and bright, albeit not easy to operate.
Conversely, this camera falls through when it comes to focusing in absolute low lights, in spite of having an integral AF illuminator that is put to help one maintain proper focus during the dark.
Apart from this, the W15 does not give you any more worries and performs without a glitch throughout all photographic expeditions, what with its vast range of shooting modes, comprising of both manual and fully automatic modes.

Plenty of useful features and highly economical too
I am very much a camera buff and have very good knowledge of photography. Being so, I wud rate this among the best I have used. It has some really good features to use. You will find the 5.1 megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom. Ample of shooting choices are present. The 2.5 inch LCD is also helpful and you can either use the manual mode or automatic choices. The camera comes with rechargeable batteries which have a very good life span. You can also make use of the Memory stick pro or memory sticks. Among the other advatanges of the camera are its compact size and small dimensions. Weight of 200 g is just about ok. Built in flash is reasonably helpful. Designing is rather trendy. Connectivity is possible via the USB cable provided. Last but not the least; it is highly economical for such a nice camera.
