Sony DSC-W7
Stepping up in designing and creating new digital cameras with fresh features, Sony’s new DSC-W7 has added options and attributes for photographers, in spite of resembling the W1 very closely.
The W7 maintains a conventional look and style followed by Sony’s W1, albeit having conspicuous upgrades to the latter. The DSC-W7 has an outstanding resolution of 7.2-megapixel, and an internal memory of a whopping 32 MB. Besides, it sports a big 2.5-inch colour LCD screen along with a vast and valuable set of preset exposure functions.
With dimensions of about 3.62 x 2.37 x 1.5 inches, and weight of 9.1 ounces, i.e. 258 grams, it is quite convenient to fit the Sony W7 in one’s purse or even a pocket.
Another fresh feature in the Sony W7 is its “Center-Weighted” metering mode, together with a “Snow preset Scene exposure” mode that lend the camera versatility as far as exposure competency is concerned. Its big LCD is a great boon to review images, but that hasn’t made Sony ignore other crucial operations, and have thereby been placed comfortably within a shooter’s reach.
As for the LCD, it makes shooting seem so effortless and simple with its even better and extremely exclusive anti-reflective coating which helps it operate impeccably even in harsh and direct light conditions. Overall, the Sony DSC-W7 is a digital camera that can be reckoned amongst superiors. Definitely not built in a hurry, the camera’s design exudes a quality and class that every customer comes looking for.

Amazing camera
After using some not so good cameras in the past, I finally managed to own a camera that I could be proud of and that was the DSC-W7. I no longer use it but had a wonderful experience all the while it was with me. It had some brilliant features like the 7 megapixel camera and the big 2.5-inch screen. And with such features, the picture quality has to be good, which is the case with W7. In fact, it is gr8. Camera performance is exceptionally fast while the battery too is long lasting. 32MB memory stick is not bad but I definitely feel the zooming features could have been better. Softwares included too aren’t extensive. Despite a couple of disappointments, I still feel it is a very good camera.
