Samsung Digimax U-CA 5
Enclose in the palm of your hand the digital wonder, Samsung’s Digimax U-CA 5. Designed ultra ergonomically in an affordable model, this five-megapixel camera can be spotted in silver, red or blue and is extremely light at five ounces.
Donning a 3x optical zoom, the digital CA 5 has outstanding features like the ISO sensitivity, varied white balance modes, exposure metering modes and myriad colour effects. The camera’s auto mode adds immense simplicity to its functionality, making it a regular
point-n-shoot camera for amateurs, suited for all occasions. Additionally, there is a night mode feature available here where you can take your pick of apertures as well as shutter speeds.
Furthermore, this digital camera has an auto focus that besides being quick and precise is also very strong technically, what with a ‘focus-assist illuminator’ brightening it up in poor light conditions. Then, the camera has a super macro mode that provides ample focus on subjects possibly placed even at extremely close distances of 5cms from the camera.
A 1.8” LCD colour screen of this digital camera is also adept at adjusting to the light in the surroundings and also gives you the option to adjust it manually. Apart from producing amazing high-resolution pictures, the Digimax U-CA 5 is proficient at creating great videos in the MPEG-4 format along with sound at 640x480 resolutions, at the rate of 30frames per second.
That is not all. These clips can be developed into better pictures further, by utilizing the movie stabilizer function, which is there to amend undue lateral and vertical shakes and movements, like in a handshake. One of the most enchanting features is that you can attach up to 10-seconds of voice notes to pictures and snaps to add that extra personal touch, or can even employ the camera as a digital voice recorder, albeit not more than one hour.
