Canon PowerShot A410
A compact 3 megapixel camera with a 3X zoom lens, the Canon Powershot A410 is extremely stylish and lightweight camera. With plenty of shooting options useful for amateurs, it falls in the category of ‘point and shoot’ cameras.
The 3.2x optical zoom of the camera has a maximum aperture range between f/2.8 – f/5.1 which comes in handy when shooting in day light.
A410 integrates 14 standard shooting modes like Portrait, Night Snapshot, Kids and Pets, Indoor, Foliage, Beach, Snow and Fireworks.
A gridline display is effective for framing shots in an accurate manner.
Using my colours, you can add a lot of zing to the images by changing the colour, contrast, brightness or even by swapping colours.
The DIGIC II processor facilities better image focusing and accurate colour representation. Presence of the 5 point AiAF feature helps in keeping all the image subjects in focus, even if it is off-centre.
Using the Super Macro mode you can focus on images from a distance of a mere 1.5 cm from the lens.
The1.5” LCD features 15 different degrees of brightness and the user interface is very useful helping in making the camera easy to use. That apart, the menus are displayed in 22 different languages. The camera flash is effective as it is effective up to a range of up to 3 metres.
With A410 you can capture movie videos of VGA (640 x 480) and QVGA (320 x 240) resolution at a rate of 10 and 20 fps respectively. The time limit of the videos is 3 minutes. A Compact Mode enables shooting videos for email.
It is possible to print images of good quality up to the size of A4. Printing without connecting to PC is permitted courtesy Print/Share button.
Among the softwares available with Powershot A410 you can make use of ZoomBrowser EX 5.5, PhotoRecord 2.2, ImageBrowser 5.5, PhotoStitch 3.1 and PhotoStudio etc.
With CANON iMAGE GATEWAY you get 100MB of web space to upload your images to the net.
Canon A410 features a 16 MB MultiMediaCard for saving images but is also compliant with SD cards. It is supplied with 2 x AA Alkaline Batteries.
With many useful features and shooting options, Canon PowerShot A410 is very good option for a beginner.

camera has everything I want
There aren’t too many better cameras for a new photographer like me. I have tried out quite a few cameras in the past and this is certainly among the better ones. The shooting modes are excellent. I especially enjoy using the some special features like my colours. Also love capturing video clips. And there more than one options here too. LCD also is very bright. Oops did I tell u the picture quality is first class if u r like me who doesn’t understand the technical aspects of photography. Want a gr8 point and shoot camera, go ahead and get this.
