Canon Digital IXUS 750
The Canon Digital IXUS 750 is a 7.1 megapixel camera encompassing a 3X optical zoom and 2.5 inch LCD apart from integrating some imaginative features.
Exceptionally stylish, it is smooth and has got an elegant feel with a nicely curving metal body. A luminous ring is visible accompanying the lens, which has a dazzling effect.
IXUS 750 has plenty of varied shooting options. You can either utilize the Auto, Manual, Portrait, Landscape, Night Snapshot modes or any of the scene modes, inclusive of an underwater mode. There is also the while balance setting feature.
A fun element is undoubtedly the ‘My Colors’ option which facilitates colour swapping and modifying colour composition according to your liking.

IXUS 750’s DIGIC II is responsible for maintaining the resolution and overall picture quality. Also, the 9-point AiAF ensures better focus while the iSAPS included regulates the settings to give a superior output.
Evaluative, centre-weighted, and spot are the three exposure control modes. The ISO can be either automatic or you can select a range between 50 and 400. Downloading facility is provided via the USB 2.0 interface.
The Intelligent Orientation Sensor recognizes the relevant settings and swivels the camera from the horizontal to vertical position if required thus facilitating accurate playback.
Video shooting features include the facility to record VGA or QVGA movies at 30 or 15 frames per second respectively. You can either continuously shoot up to 1 GB or 60 seconds, whichever is completed first. In Compact Movie mode, you can share movies via email. Slow action playback is possible by shooting at a fast rate of 60 fps.
Some useful functions include a world time zone display. Then you can find animated characters and better warnings for camera shake. Last but not least, the menu is compatible with 22 languages.
Among the softwares shipped you can make use of ZoomBrowser EX 5.5, PhotoStitch 3.1, Movie Edit Task etc.
All in all, a high-quality camera producing excellent picture quality with the help of abundant shooting modes.

perfect beginner’s camera
This camera is very easy to use. The style of the camera is brilliant and it is very potable being light in weight. The 7.1 MP is a very good feature which helps in taking high quality prints. The picture quality itself is absolutely marvellous. That’s not all, its video capturing capability is also high class. U can shoot 60fps videos. Among the shortcomings I noticed the lack of manual settings. True the camera is basically for amateurs but a there wud have been no harm if some manual adjustments were present. One more point I noticed was that the autofocus does not provide the correct focussing, a big shortcoming. All said and done its perfect for beginners.
