Samsung T100
Samsung T100 is stylish phone with a reasonable size of 88 x 50 x 22 mm. Weighting just about 87g, it fits comfortably into your hand making it rather portable.
Among one of the most impressive features of Samsung T100 is the dazzling internal TFT colour screen with 4096 colours and a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. To make it look even more vibrant, there are many wallpaper options available for the internal TFT screen.
The external LCD shows important information like the caller’s ID, which helps you identify the caller without flipping the phone open. Apart from that, it also exhibits useful data like time, date, battery status and signal strength. Like most brand Samsung phones, the external screen of T100 also has a sapphire-blue backlight.
Designing of the phone is extremely slick with all the edges skillfully curved. Keypad layout is very good with distinct buttons and good spacing making messaging simple. You can locate a WAP key centrally placed in the 4-way navigation key. User interface is overall pretty good and easy to use.
Further, this flip phone comes with 16 in-built and customisable polyphonic ringtones which will only add up to a better mobile experience. These polyphonic ringtones in T100 are of comparatively good quality and can be used not only for incoming calls but also for the alarm feature.
The CD shipped with the mobile comes with 200 colour images and 200 melodies to help you modify your phone features frequently.
T100 has a lunar calendar conversion feature in the calendar menu which displays the lunar date at the bottom right-hand corner.
There is a provision to choose oft used features in advance. You can make use of twenty different voice commands and voice dialling also for 20 numbers.
A major shortcoming of T100 is the dearth of connectivity options. Bluetooth is absent as is the infrared port. Of course, you get a data cable but unfortunately that can only be used in combination with the software CD for ringtones and graphics.
T100’s Li-Ion battery gives users a standby time of 60 hours and battery talktime of 1.3 hours which is very disappointing.
Samsung T100 looks amazing with a nice colour display. But without the important connectivity options like Bluetooth and Infrared and a poor battery life, it will not cater to the modern mobile users who are very much fascinated with these advanced technologies.

Horrible for SMSing
Well, I have been using this phone for less than a month and would say so far that I have mixed feelings about it. First and foremost it looks damn stylish. You feel like opening the flip every now than then just to gain the attraction of onlookers. The colour display is excellent and even the ringtones are cool. But SMSing is very likely to put you off. First there is a quite a big to lag evident while typing and secondly, there is not facility to add new words in the dictionary which is rather ridiculous. If only this feature was taken care of, T100 would have been a great cellphone.
