Sony Ericsson T610
Sony Ericsson seems to be really taking good care of entertainment freaks, with yet another entrant in its ‘imaging and entertaining’ smartphone category, the new T610. Very fashionably designed with a 65536-colour screen, this tri-band phone offers exciting imaging experiences with its integral camera that produces pictures at 120 x 160 and 288 x 352 pixel resolutions.
The T610’s digital camera comes with a self-timer and offers three imaging effect options, the black and white, negative, and sepia effect. What’s more, this phone allows you to share all your pictures with your loved ones instantly, through the QuickShare™ technology. Encased in a stylish aluminium cover, polished with black, the T610 supports MMS as well as other PC applications in addition to Bluetooth and infrared. The model is available in three colour varieties, Aluminum Haze, Abyss Blue, and Volcanic Red.
The fun multiplies further as the T610 permits ultimate customisation facilities, wherein it is possible to alter and personalise just about everything, from desktop pictures to toolbars and texts. You can also create your own polyphonic ring tones with the help of the Music DJ application and download games of your choice to the existing set of games via the Java and Mophun programs. One of the most enthralling features in this phone is its massive phone book capacity to contain about 512 entries.
All said this phone is not devoid of quirks. Its camera is disappointing in dim light conditions, producing extremely dreary images. Moreover, this phone has goofed up majorly in its weak internal memory capacity of just 2MB with no alternative for extension or upgradation also. Therefore, that could imply vigorous deleting exercises to manage the limited memory space. Last but not the least, this phone conspicuously lacks a speakerphone, which can be of great help.

This phone is a pain
Reading about its functions you might feel this is an impressive phone. But don’t fall into the trap. True there are quite a few features incorporated. But very few deliver good results. The display suffers big time in bright daylight and the user interface can’t be termed as user friendly. The picture quality is excruciatingly bad. Ringtones are not loud at all and sorry to say but the vibrator is a waste. Battery life is good. But nonetheless, the phone is terrible

A kid with weak memory
i want to ask SE what do they expect one to do with a meagre 2MB of memory space? I always find myself deleting something or the other to sustain the provided space. Otherwise, the performance is satisfactory, although the camera is quite disappointing.
