Sony Ericsson K700i
The usage of mobile phones has acquired an altogether different meaning today and more so with cameras being offered with cell phones that have rendered mobile imaging almost an integral part of mobile phones.
Well, Sony Ericsson’s K700i could be called a mobile phone of that genre. Exceptionally equipped with all essential multimedia features, this phone is truly a czar when it comes to producing perfect images and sounds. Its lucid and resplendent colour display (65K colours, 176x220 resolution) does not waver in strong sunlight, putting most of its predecessors to shame.
Also, its VGA camera has a 4x digital zoom and a camera light along with the camcorder facility and impeccably performs its duties well. You can always be connected to your family and friends by sharing pictures and videos of your best experiences through QuickShare™ via either Bluetooth™, MMS, email or data cable. The phone can be termed as a camera-phone, since it looks like a mobile phone from one side, and a camera from the other.
Additionally, the K700i offers you an en-suite FM radio as well as a fully featured MP3 player that will play your favourite music just when you want it to. The phone provides an increased number of 40-voice ring tones with 8 volume levels, which sound quite loud and clear. Moreover, its advanced memory capacity of 41Mbytes is satisfactory enough for stocking pictures, videos as well as music files.
For all creative minds, the good news is that the MusicDJ application is available here to help you create personal polyphonic tones or make you record voice memos of your own that can serve as a ringer. Isn’t that interesting?
However, there is another side to the coin too, as the bright display of the K700i eats into the battery tremendously, and is almost like a glutton as far as consumption of power is concerned. Otherwise, there is nothing much to complain about this sleek shaped device that looks classic and serves all your corporate needs with much sophistication and efficiency.

Please don’t buy this.
I actually thought I made good decision by buying the K700i at first. But boy I was terribly wrong. I heard this was supposed to be an upgraded version of some previous SE model. But hey guys, this is a pretty shameful upgrade if at all you want to call it one. To say that it works at a snail’s pace would be an understatement. And this for a start. Once the memory space begins to fill up, it will almost make you tear your hair out. It can take minutes to send a simple message. That’s how grave a problem it has. The battery life is very short. Camera is now where near satisfactory and keypad arrangement will almost kill your fingers. But it at your own risk.
