Sony Ericsson K600i
Sony Ericsson’s K600i is a 3G phone inclusive of striking features like a megapixel camera, media player and FM radio.
Having dimensions of 104 x 45 x 19 mm, the 1.8 inch display recognizes 262,144 colours and the LCD screen has a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels.
This phone delivers the hottest mobile features like video calling, mobile streaming, and e-mail. The mobile internet facility is present but absence of a HTML browser is very unpleasant.
Keypad arrangement is not very helpful. At times you end up pressing more than one button simultaneously.
The 1.3 megapixel camera comes with a 4x digital zoom. It has video recording capabilities but unfortunately the results are by no means excellent.
Among the other functions, the multimedia features provide the facility of video recording and playback. To edit pictures, you can utilise the picture editor feature.
For the music buffs, the FM radio does well while you can always make use of the MP3 player. And as an icing on the cake, full track music downloads are also possible.
Sony Ericsson K600i also helps you to connect to your PC either through Bluetooth, infrared or USB port. Off all, the USB connection causes a lot of teething problems.
There is a technology called QuickShare through which it is possible to share images with family and loved ones.
K600i has in-built polyphonic ringtones but you can always make use of the ringtone composer to create your original melodies.
Messaging services include SMS, EMS and MMS. The wallpapaers and screensavers add to the style quotient of the phone.
K600i also gives you the facility to download Java games. Good Speakerphone quality makes sounds very audible even in noisy surroundings.
Available with 37MB of internal memory space, there is no memory card in case expansions are needed.
All in all, the K600i is basically intended at giving you the best in multimedia technology and does a reasonably good job at that.

Fantastic Sony phone
According to me, this is the best mobile ever to come from the Sony Ericsson camp. Right from the styling to the performance, everything is brilliant. It has cool looks and using it is like a child’s play. Keypad must be slightly bigger but that shouldn’t be a very big issue once u get a hang of operating it. Otherwise, all the other features are highly user friendly. U don’t even need to glance through the user manual. If there is one grudge about this phone, it has to be the absence of a memory card slot. But, on the whole, it’s fantastic. Move over Nokia, Sony has arrived.

Not great neither disappointing
I personally rate Nokia handsets higher than Sony Ericsson. But my gut feeling told me I should try out the Sony Ericsson K600i. And wow it has been a rather pleasant experience. What do I say about K600i! There are just too many good features. The designing is ohhhh so cute and excellent. Megapixel camera is impressive and so is the display, FM and media player. There are couple of irritants though. The keypad is too jumbled up and you end up pressing the wrong keys at times. Connectivity through Bluetooth, Infrared and USB is rather big headache at times. Apart from that I can’t find too many faults. Reasonably satisfied.
