Sony Ericsson J210i
The Sony Ericsson J210i is an improvement and a definite change for the better from Sony’s erstwhile J200 series, with its high-resolution 65K screen of 128x128 pixels and an additional support for MMS.
The tri-band J210i hoards about 32 polyphonic ringtones, as well as a committed ringtone speaker that is extremely lucid and coherent. Furthermore, the J210i stocks a plethora of attractively coloured images, which can be used as wallpapers on the screen while in the standby mode.
Measuring 101x43x19 mm and weighing 74 grams, this device is tailor-made for pockets of both shirts as well as trousers, and is almost like a glove for your hand, fit and light. Even though the basic structural plan resembles its older cousins, the J210i does inherit a style of its own, with its novel smart colours, Mineral Silver and Floral Green. The phone boasts of a memory capacity of 200 contacts, each of which can be assigned an independent picture and tune.
Ergonomically placed keys in the phone’s keypad make messaging and typing a breeze, and prevent mistakes and typographical errors. Besides the block navigation keys positioned at a safe distance from each other, the phone has a satisfactorily placed 5-way navigation joystick as well. However, the quality of the screen tends to give up when taken out in the sun, as it becomes practically impossible to read anything in sunlight.

Normal phone for normal use
It has all the basic features for a user who only use it for listening or calling. The screen quality can be said a disadvantage but what can you get in such a low price

Bad screen quality
Using the J210i left me with rather mixed feelings. Firstly, I was happy enough that the decent size meant I could at least carry it in my pocket. The design and most of the functions are more than user friendly. I particularly admire the polyphonic ringtones and impressive wallpapers. But most disapponting was a very essential aspect of the cell i.e. the screen. While the screen resolution isn't bad by any standards, all that comes to naught in bright daylight. And since I'm always on the move in the mornings and afternoons, I have to put extra effort while trying to read or send messages. It's really pathetic to say the least.
