Nokia 8800
The Nokia 8800 is relatively slender compared to other Nokia handsets. Weighting a reasonable 134g with dimensions of 107x45x16.5 mm, it fits comfortably into the hands.
The surface is highly resistant to fingerprints and scratches even as the mirror refined edges might not be able to prevent stains. Going in for a clean appearance means no antenna can be spotted on the exterior. Turn over and you’ll find a solitary power button on the top.
Two small coverings on the sides hold the battery compartment. The phone uses two 600mAh batteries but it takes excruciatingly long to replace batteries because it involves some hard work.
The 8800's flat-screen display opens with just a push thanks to the spring-loaded slide system. Inside can be found a white backlit keypad and 0.5 megapixel camera with a decent resolution of 800 x 600-pixel inventively concealed at the back of the display along with a mirror back.
There are some issues with the buttons. The keys are congested keys on the last row and the Navi pad has a miniscule centre button which will create a lot of ill ease.
Enrichments comprise of a rotatable headset clip, a loudspeaker design that mingles nicely with the top of the phone, and desktop structure with attractive blue light effects which also helps you to identify if the phone is charging.
Among other enhanced features, you can utilize the Bluetooth facility while infrared is not offered. You can play music through FM, which is an amazing pastime with powerful signal strength in most places, while stereo playback is supported by Bluetooth.
You are provided with 64MB of internal NAND flash memory of which only 47.7MB as the remaining space is eaten up by all the preinstalled features. Unfortunately, there’s no expansion slot too. The loudspeaker can give audio output, but for radio you'll have to still need to plug in the headset/antenna.
Furthermore, 8800 is capable of recognizing Java, HSCSD, video, e-mail, instant messaging et al. Three preinstalled Java games: Street Race, Golf Tour, and Chess are good fun.
Screen display is one of the big plus points .The 262,144 colours offered are exceptionally clear anywhere you use it.
According to Nokia, 8800 offers close to three hours of talk time of and nearly 200 hours on standby.
For the lazy birds, there is a demo on the Nokia site offering tips on how to make optimum use of the product.
Being extremely fashionable, Nokia 8800 is highly suitable for ones accustomed to trendy gizmos.

'Pretty' empty mobile!
This is just pretty and damn expensive, that's it. Performs very average functions and let me tell you, its picture and video quality is pathetic! It also doesnt have a memory slot enough for an MP3 player.
