20th Century Fox - Mr & Mrs Smith (2005)
Starring hot favourites Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Mr & Mrs Smith is an action cross romantic thriller. The 6-year-old marriage of John and Jane Smith (Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie) is on the rocks for the lack of erotic pleasure and despite taking advice from a marriage counsellor, things don’t improve. What both are unaware of though is that each is a skilled assassin and that too employed by rival agencies. Both end up hunting for the same target (Adam Brody) but finish up in each other’s way and miss the ultimate aim. Next, they are ordered to go all-out for the person responsible for the goof up. And it is during this warfare that they begin to revive that something missing in their relationship.
Director Doug Liman manages to give the audiences a good laugh combining action with wit & humor. The fast paced sequences are well edited and dialogue delivery is snazzy. Writer Simon Kinberg is smart enough to sketch the lead characters in diverse roles as both unsatisfied married couples and expert killers.
Jolie and Pitt, as expected, carry of their respective roles with the required luster. But Vince Vaughn is simple superb in his side-splittingly role.
This sexy, action adventure juxtaposed with some slapstick comedy and mind blowing special effects, is sure to keep you glued.

Ooga, ow good dis movi iz, i kin tel.
I missing many joks in dialog. Anjlina Jolly jolly good. She resaon i sees movi on DVD 7 times 8 times. Bread Pith rubbish, i am bettr looking can do bettr fite stuns. Wimmin on ma beat call me sexi hunk. But movi cool xcepteen sum parts. I got hot tips for Laymin tha diractor to maik bettr flim nex time.

This movie is a big disappointment
I find it really weird that this movie is being liked so much by people. Maybe they are just interested in watching the deadly duo of Pitt and Jolie together no matter how pathetic the story is. But taking the overall film angle, it certainly fares well below expectations. First and foremost the script seems senseless with the professional killers theme. The chemistry between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is hot without doubt but even their acting skills were below power thanks to the faulty screenplay. Let’s have some sensible flicks please by moving over the Jolie-Pitt fixation.
