Glu Mobile’s Fox Sports Football 06
Fox Sports Football 2006 gives users the option of choosing your favourite from amongst 32 NFL squads- the names of the team members are not specified. In a significant change from last year, some special teams are also part of the game this year, though the player limit for each side remains at seven.
The game becomes quite simple due to its poor AI. When the CPU is on the offense, its quarterback hardly makes any aggressive moves. While the CPU defending too, it’s not that big a challenge to get past the opposition.
In the season mode, you first must form a fantasy team and then allot stats.
The computer graphics are larger and more detailed. Yet, one is not able to view the helmet badges and player faces as they are not licensed.
Audio wise, you can listen to some lively tunes at different intervals. After every whistle blowing, the players can be heard grumbling and grunting. The same sounds are heard even when players crash into one another.
In short, Glu Mobile’s Fox Sports Football 2006 is nothing but a slightly advanced version of its predecessor.

The game is an insult to a soccer lover's intelligence
My rating for this stupid game is: 1. There's nothing lower if my maths is correct. I figured out all the moves and attacks on day 1. So how good am I? Or how bad is this toy? Nonsense really. And real soccer players do not grumble and grunt. They use swear words. And you call it a 'slightly advanced version'. Don't cross my path buddy. Ever. I bought the game after reading your review, chap.

A boring football game
Having tried out the previous version, I was expecting a bit better than what I got with this game. Its just a bit too dull for my liking. Most of the basics remain the same. Playing the game is a child's play. You can win easily both while defnding and attacking. The music is horribly irritating. Graphics are slightly better which is probably the only silver lining for me. If you are looking for an exciting, adventerous soccer game, this is miles away from it.
