Beneficial bank’s RSPCA Credit Card
Issued by Beneficial Bank in combination with RSPCA, this credit card offers impressive features like an introductory rate of 0% on balance transfers for the initial 5 months apart from having a standard APR rate of 14.9%.
Moreover, the RSPCA credit card also provides you with a 24hr Customer support service, complete online account management and also doesn’t charge any annual fee.
But the main USP of the card lies is its charitable cause. RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is UK’s most renowned animal charity and purchasing the RSPCA card will give you more than just a competitive credit card. Every time you utilise the card, you also get the satisfaction of lending a helping hand to the animal welfare trust.
When you are provided the card by Beneficial bank, the RSPCA gets richer by £15. Then, out of every £100 you spend using the card, 25Pis handed over to RSPCA by the bank. The animal caring institution further gets £1 on every anniversary of the card issue.
Available in three varied designs (platinum logo, cat logo and dog logo), a person applying for this must earn at least £4000 annually.

Good features and a charitable cause
I applied for this card sometime back and it has been of reasonable use. I had heard a lot about RSPCA's charity and had a gut feeling that they would give me good service. And well not 2 disappointed. 0% introductory rate is good. APR is probably slightly high at close to 15%. But then I took it because I wanted to contribute to the novel cause of RSPCA in a small way. A word of praise for Customer service guys who have been very kind and co-operative.
