Capital One Platinum Credit Card with balance transfer deals
Like Capital One Classic credit card, the Capital One Platinum card too doesn’t have any unique schemes or attractive benefits.
It charges no annual fees, and comes with a 0% rate for the initial six months on all purchases made. While the standard APR is 12.9%, the Platinum credit card also charges a relatively affordable lifetime balance transfer rate of 5.9% APR which makes it highly suitable for those not able to clear up their debts every month.
To be applicable for the Platinum card which offers a Credit Limit of up to £25,000, you need to be someone over 21 years of age with a high credit rating and an annual income of at least £10,000.
Among the services provided by the Capital One Platinum credit card are online card application and account management, 24 hour customer service helpline, assurance against internet fraud and availability of various card designs from which you can choose your favourite.
You can utilize your Capital One Platinum card at retail stores and ATM machines displaying the MasterCard logo.

The 5.9% APR balance transfer rate makes it very affordable.
For many weeks I hated the idea of going in for another credit card after some unpleasant situations (my fault mainly) with my previous card. But I'm glad I took Capital One Platinum because I often overspend and end up with more debt each month than I earn. It's hard to keep track of the bills and harder still to calculate.

I’m impressed
The Capital One Platinum credit card has some impressive features. The balance transfer rate of 5.9% is relatively user friendly. Also, they do not charge any annual fee. The introductory 0% rate is quite a common feature in cards. But still, its presence is necessary. Online account management is a nice function but please educate your customer support staff about your features. They tend to behave as naïves at times.
