Flexible is the word for Virgin Credit Card
Owned by business bigwig Richard Branson, Virgin has dabbled in the music, airlines and car industry. Now the company attempts to try its luck in the field of credit cards via the Virgin credit card.
The Virgin Credit Card gives you two options to choose from. The first one gives you 0% balance transfer rate for the first nine 9 months and a 15.9% standard APR.
The second alternative includes no introductory balance transfers and 10.9% APR.
You can even select a scheme wherein you get points on purchasing stuff like grocery, petrol etc and can use those points to purchase exciting stuff like music, videos, DVDs, games etc. Even if you have refrained from going for this scheme, you can be rewarded with cash in place of these special discounts.
Other rewarding Virgin plans include concessions offered on your Virgin mobile telephone bill, travel accident insurance, purchase protection and safeguard against misuse of your credit card.
There are even different card designs to opt for. Even after you have selected a card you are given the provision to change features and benefits at any given point of time. As a result, along with time you can make changes to your card schemes according to your liking and current state of affairs.

What every clever housewife must have
Can there be a better card than this! I chose the points scheme, where you are awarded points for every purchase you make. These would add up substantially over some months and fetch you handsome rewards or freebies like DVDs and games for your children. So you can shop and shop and shop. Imagine! I'm happy I have this card. And happier that I'm married to someone who loves the same person I do, i.e. myself.

Think hard before applying for this.
At first look you might like the features of Virgin credit card. It offers 0% interest for the introductory 9 months. But that’s not the entire story. This is valid only if the card is not used for purchases and all the balance is cleared on time. Unless the above two conditions are satisfied, you have to pay the standard APR of 15.9%. The credit limit offered is very high. But my only suggestion to all the future credit card users is always read the ‘Terms and Conditions’ properly before applying for one. I am suffering as a result of not taking it too seriously.
