Enjoy life in the fast lane with Flatout
Flatout can best be described as a hardcore racing game minus the unessential story elements which are sometimes included just for the heck of it.
The game offers you different challenges like a career mode, a quick race, a time trial mode, and multiplayer.
You take the first steps towards racing by buying your first car. There are a series of races within different circuits: bronze, silver, and gold. It is not obligatory to win each and every race but you do have to come at least third in all of them to make sure you earn a medal. Placing higher will earn you more money though.
The mechanics of FlatOut are not that intricate and handling the car become quite easy once you are used to it. They do not have the genuine racing strategies used but instead focus more on power sliding and wild smash-ups in trying to provide entertainment value to the users.
Except for the diverse designs, most cars function in a similar manner. You will come across five to six different race tracks where you can test your racing skills.
If you are a die hard racing fan and enjoy fast, destruction racing, go ‘Flatout’ to buy this.

So boring! You smash out of the windscreen everytime
At first I got interested in the crashes and the gimmicks seemed good. Now no more. This is one game I wouldn;t rate even as average. Only for highly developed individuals with the IQ of an armadillo.

just not very exciting
Flatout is a decent racing game. But I did not find it adventurous enough to term it as great. The game lacks depth and innovation. You begin racing by purchasing a car. Then in each race as you win, you earn money with which you can upgrade the car accordingly. Apart from the main mode, there is also a bonus mode. Basically, the antics of the game are nothing great, the same old crashing and finding debris all over the place. All in all, there’s nothing novel about Flatout, but you can certainly rent and try it out until you get bored.
