Innovations galore in NCAA Football 06
Released by EA sports, NCAA Football 06 incorporates many new features absent in the previous edition like race for the Heisman mode and in-season recruiting.
Even the cover athlete this time round is 1991 Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard unlike a current NFL member picked every time.
In the Heisman mode, you are a high school recruit aiming to break into the big time college league. You’ll be given a chance to play for four seasons during which you have to try and attract the attention of Heisman voters. As you keep on winning you get trophies, fan mails and lost more. Your ultimate objective, though, has to be to win the annual award for the best college football player.
In the contemporary dynasty mode, a notable addition is the process of in-season recruiting where every week you can try and recruit top high school stars courtesy your recruiting power.
NCAA 06 also gives you the option of practicing throwing passes with the help of a passing skeleton minigame.
The inclusion of impact players is another supplementary feature. Marked by white shadows, these are the ones to turn to when you looking an important first down or wanting to make a key stop.

Worthy heir to the throne of the previous edition
Those chaps who developed this game are really good. I had thoroughly enjoyed playing the last version. This one has many interesting features and the moves are as lifelike as they come. If you love soccer, you will love this game.

this football game is fun
On a scale of 10, I would rate this game at 8. It is a big improvement over last year’s edition which really unsatisfactory. The animations look astounding and the players also look more distinct compared to last year. Impact player is a good innovative feature. Won’t say the sound is too great. The music too is pretty ordinary. But the gameplay makes for most of the flaws. A worthy buy for all soccer fans.
