It’s different: Mint Credit Card
Mint credit card is the latest offering from the Royal Bank of Scotland. The card has been in the news a lot courtesy its unique structure i.e. a curved edge something not observed in previous credit cards.
Mint Card, mc² Card, Mint Gold Card and the Mint Platinum Card are four varieties of the Mint credit card.
As an introductory scheme, the mint card offers a rate of 0% for 9 months on purchases and balance transfers. The standard APR rate is 4.9%. Other features include cashback deal and up to 56 days interest free credit.
It also assures internet protection against online fraud and good transactions on travel wine and magazines.
With its striking design and novel name, it’s definitely a credit card with a difference.

The bank's statements have addled my brains.
Some purchase entries were repeated in my last month's statement. The outgoing simply did not tally with my calculations. And when I called up the bank I was put on hold for twenty-five minutes and given a complaint number. I think all banks are like that. No difference really.

This Mint is not cool
There is nothing extraordinary about the Mint credit card and so I very seldom make use of it. First and foremost, I don’t like any of their color schemes, especially the violet one which is too drab. It took a hell of a lot of time for me to set up my direct debit. They don’t upgrade you to Gold neither do they enhance the credit limit. The payment procedure can also get complicated at times when you get conflicting statements from the bank. Stay away.
