Go wireless with the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h6340
With the burgeoning trend of smart phones reflecting across the market, HP couldn’t have been left far behind for long. Joining the smartphone gang, HP has arrived with iPAQ h6340; presenting myriad wireless facilities like GSM/GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth as well as infrared and comes with an add-on keyboard. However, the iPAQ disappoints from a design perspective, being bulky and unwieldy. It looks rather jam-packed with its variety of features, appearing like a huge handheld than a phone. The iPAQ has dimensions of 7.5cm by 11.9cm by 1.87cm and weighs 190g, a bit too heavy for those who wish to utilize this pocket PC mainly like a mobile phone.
Despite keys being close-set in the iPAQ, it performs faster than a virtual keyboard or any other input device. But, take note of this trait while making a purchase.
Meanwhile, iPAQ features a 64MB of ROM and RAM, with 55MB being accessible by users. It operates on Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition and offers regular features like Pocket Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Windows Media Player with Microsoft Reader, iPAQ Backup and HP Profiles as a few extras. iPAQ’s performance did not disappoint where quality was concerned, albeit its functioning as a handheld seemed to fall through with a relatively slow performance during open applications. Furthermore, its 65,536-colour screen looked rather insipid and pale, although it could be suitably read outdoors.

Nice tool
I would say this is an extremely handy tool to have if you are a person on the move. I have been well served by the range of wireless services this tool offers. Simply great.

Good things come in 'pocket-size' packages
An awesome package, i must say! HP has really set an example of encasing great services and functions in small packages. HP iPAQ has gone a long way in catering to our cell phone needs, through the h6340 albeit its pocket size. Everything is perfect in this phone, well almost. That is because I wish the iPAQ was light and more easy to handle.
