An information packed fable!!
A few words, a fast paced book, packed with information, locked within the bubble of a mediocre storyline. Armed with simple language usage, coupled with the assumption that the reader is not really well versed in history, cults, and symbols; makes this book a very informative and an equally interesting read. The only glitch I found was the theme.
Extremely predictable [anyone could guess there was something between Sophie Neveu, one of the protagonists, and the Holy Grail], the book wins out on the fact that, even though they might have not produced original facts [after Dan Brown was accused of plagiarizing material out of the studies of Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh’s work in the non-fiction, “The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail”], he does provide enough information to add a feather to anyone’s biblical knowledge.

A great read, flowing upto the brim with information that can be verified or debated upon, this book is indeed a treat for anyone and everyone who reads it.

An ifromation packed fable
Thats precisely what ran across my head when I finally kept the book dow. Loads of intriguing facts, with a terribly 60'ish storyline. However the amount of knowledge, not just about Christ, but about a whole lot of ancient pagan and wiccan symbols, turns it into a book that makes one crave for more. On the whole a good read minus the "twist in tales" that one might expect out of it.

Interesting book but an ambiguous and unsatisfying ending.
A good read, I might even go so far as to say it's a great read. For a theologian like me, this book is a most interesting diversion. Indeed, many names, places and document details are authentic and based on actual history. It's a most interesting blend of fiction and history. But the book closes with some ambiguity. Does it suggest that Sophie Neveu is from the Jesus-Mary Magdalene lineage? I myself could never say for sure.

Just a great book
This book is great, just great - If you have not read The Da Vinci Code why not? Please do it; i never heard of the author previosuly and saw the book hype, usually unjustified. Was suprised and happy that this time the book is better than the hype.
