Kia Sportage 2.0-Litre CRDi Diesel 4x4
Compared to the petrol version beginning from £14,495, the Diesel Sportage range starts from £15,695. The Kia Sportage 2.0-Litre CRDi Diesel consists of a 16v engine that builds up 111bhp at 4,000rpm. With a maximum acceleration of 104mph, it can race up to 60mph in 13.5 seconds.
It makes use of the basic ‘torque on demand’ synchronization which keeps the Sportage in front wheel drive up long as the front wheels aren’t slipping. Once that happens, it shifts a proportion of drive to the rear wheels.
Being a Kia product, all the features of Sportage 2.0 Litre Petrol are found in this car too.
So we have the back seats with Kia’s ‘Fold and Dive’ system. The front seats can also be folded flat. At the rear, a flip-up window exists.
In the interior of the Sportage, many instruments are placed on the upper part of the central console. Keys for the four-wheel drive system are placed opposite the steering.
Talking about the exterior, the stout wheel curves give the car a puffed up feel.
Fitted with a compatible CD stereo, air conditioning and electric windows, it’s perfect for those on the hunt for a small, economical 4x4 mainly to be used for light off road use.

Smart thing, this 'torque on demand'
Try going downhill on a gravelly mountain road in any other UV and you will know the difference. The shift between front wheel drive and rear wheel drive helps secure the balance at such times. One of the many features that make the Kia Sportage 2.0 litre worth your money.

Life in the fast lane
I purchased this car a couple of months ago and it has accelerated my life like anything. I could speed up to 60mph in just over 12 seconds something very adventeruos for someone like me who is not used living life in the fast lane. Being an amateur driver, I cannot explain the functions to you but whatever are present work really well. I was overrawed by the design and last but not least, the price is not all that heavy. I'm jsut lovin this joyride.
