Canon seems to work hard filling every possible niche with its photo printer lines. With the Canon PIXMA iP2000, however, it may have gone one niche too far. Priced at $80 direct, the printer offers a little more than the $50 iP1500.
Priced at $80, this is a typical CMYK printer, but with some value-adds. It uses lower-capacity cartridges when compared to iP 3000. Graphics are not as well replicated as the text. Same goes for photos. However, if your use is restricted more to text and you do not want to pay that extra cent, this is a steal.
