Sony DW-Q28A - burn problem with DW Q28A [ Product

I am disappointed with sony dvd burner, right from day 1 it did not burn the movie dvds properly in fact, it creates problem when the data size is above 2 GB. There is no error show the burn is successful, but when u try to read it does not, say’s insert dvd. I also noticed that the burn area on the dvd is not constant, meaning I can see 2 or more different shades, don’t know what it means may be the burn process speed changes, I tried using different speed, 2x, 4x, 6x all the same problem, got the dvd replaced but still same problem. I have already destroyed 20 dvds. I think I better try another brand..
Anyone out there having the same problem?
