I won’t rate the DSC-T1 among the better cameras I have used. I must say I did expect a lot out of it. Earlier too it have used some sony cameras. But this is downright disappointing. Camera performance is slow. The 5MP camera also does not deliver any extraordinary results. While the pictures are at best bearable in bright light, the same cannot be said abt the images captured in dim light with the flash which are as good as invisible. Camera is light and portable. Also the LCD screen is very big. But the absence of the optical viewfinder is felt big time. While the battery performance isn’t gr8, many times the battery compartment opens easily I’ve always admired Sony for producing some very good cameras. But I have to say with a heavy heart that this time they have disappointed me badly.
