Initially, I was completely taken aback by the stunning IXUS 700. But as time passed by, I realized that it was anything but exceptional. It has a 7-megapixel sensor and looks gorgeously beautiful. The LCD is really nice and can be viewed effectively in most conditions. While the picture quality is reasonably good, sometimes they lack the sharpness that one expects from a digital camera. Among the features, I admire the ‘My Colours’ function. But a few of the scene modes like snow and clouds don’t give the desired results. It is a good camera no doubt but could have been much much better.
